Composite deck stairs with black powder-coated aluminum cable railing going down a slope

The path down the slope from the house was a row of old timber steps set in the dirt. They were uneven, overgrown and had no railing.

We pulled them out, poured new concrete footings and framed stairs that follow the hill, with a small raised deck at the top. Deck and stairs together come to 222 sq ft. Both are Eva-Last Infinity in Caribbean Coral, a light gray. Black powder-coated aluminum cable railing runs 36 feet along the deck and all the way down the stairs. It's solid to grab, and you still see the hills through it.

Got dirt steps with no railing? Send us a photo of the slope.
