What is Eva-Last Infinity made of?
Infinity is capped composite decking. Its technical data sheet lists polyethylene and bamboo cellulose fiber. It is not the glass-fiber-reinforced PVC decking described on our Apex Plus and Pioneer pages.
The Infinity family also includes Infinity IS, which Eva-Last describes as an I-beam profile. That name does not establish which profile was used on an older deck; a project or replacement-board match needs its own product identification.
Infinity colors
Eva-Last's US Infinity color list is Tiger Cove, Concrete Grey, Oasis Palm and Caribbean Coral. The Infinity IS block spells the gray option Concrete Gray. These are the manufacturer's published color names, not a stock-availability list.
You can see Oasis Palm on our Saratoga and Morgan Hill projects and Caribbean Coral on our Los Gatos and San Jose projects.
What should I budget for an Infinity deck?
- New deck$50–75per sq ft
- Full replacement$50–80per sq ft
Our overall composite planning range on level ground is $50 to $75 per sq ft for new construction and $50 to $80 per sq ft for full replacement. Replacement includes taking the old deck down; delivery and hauling it away are quoted separately. The minimum composite size on level ground is 150 sq ft. These are category ranges, not Infinity-specific rates.
Of the three Eva-Last lines, Infinity usually costs the least. The calculator accounts for your size and site conditions, including height, slope and access, but does not price the Eva-Last lines separately. A written estimate follows within 24 hours of the visit.
Calculate a new composite deckReplacing an old deck with Infinity
The San Jose project shows a wood deck and staircase replaced with Infinity and aluminum picket railing. In Morgan Hill, the project included new Infinity decking in Oasis Palm and steps. Use those project pages to compare the work involved, rather than comparing their totals as if they were the same deck.
Keeping the frame and replacing the surface is deck remodeling, a different scope from a full rebuild. Ask us to assess that option at the visit.

The Infinity board warranty and our work
Infinity boards carry a 30-year limited residential warranty from Eva-Last. Its conditions and exclusions apply, and the document excludes removal and installation labor from the board warranty.
MS Construction and Services provides a separate 3-year written workmanship warranty. The separate 1-year Eva-Last labor warranty does not extend or add to that period. We are an Eva-Last Pro Contractor.

We replaced our entire deck this summer and expected it to be a long, messy project. MS Construction and Services made it much easier than we thought it would be. Mike and his crew demolished our old 570 sq. ft. deck and stairs, built a new pressure-treated frame, and installed Eva-Last Infinity composite decking. They also assembled our 12' x 24' aluminum pergola and anchored it on six posts. The backyard looks completely different now, and we're using it far more than before. Their lead carpenter knows deck building inside and out and was meticulous about every part of the build. It was clear he cared about getting the details right, and it shows in the finished deck. Mike was easy to reach and kept us informed. We had a detailed proposal within a couple of days of the estimate, and the final price matched the quote, with no surprise charges. For the amount of work involved, the job was done quickly. We highly recommend MS Construction and Services to anyone planning a deck project.
Questions about an Infinity project
Can you build a curved Infinity deck with benches?
Yes, our Saratoga project is a semicircular Infinity deck with benches finished in the same decking. The project page shows the build stages and the finished deck.
Which Infinity colors have you used on these projects?
The projects here show Oasis Palm and Caribbean Coral. The manufacturer's US Infinity list also includes Tiger Cove and Concrete Grey; publication on that list does not confirm current availability.
Is Infinity IS another name for every Infinity board?
No, Eva-Last presents Infinity IS as a profile within the Infinity family. Its I-beam design should not be attributed to every Infinity board or every older installation.
Can you match an older Fortress Infinity deck?
A match needs the exact existing board identified; the name alone is not enough. Eva-Last's announcement confirms the acquisition of Fortress Deck Products, not that every older Fortress Infinity board is identical to a current Eva-Last board.
Where can I compare Infinity with other materials?
Our composite decking guide compares Eva-Last with Trex, TimberTech (AZEK), Deckorators and Fiberon. For our Apex Plus and Pioneer work, start from the Eva-Last hub.
